- Slovak SME operating in the field of sustainable technologies has developed ultrasonic leak detector for compressed air, other gases and vacuum, called as KRYPTON-PRO. This small pocket-sized device disposes with color display showing immediate air leak intensity. It is equipped with a built-in speaker and jack connector for connecting soundproof headphones in a noisy environment. The technology automatically records peaks and stores their values in memory with the possibility of transfer to a PC via Wifi. The device is powered by a Li-Po battery that lasts up to 10 hours. It is a super sensitive device based on the Heterodyne principle with a range of up to 6 meters. The detector can directly convert leaks into financial losses in EUR, so the customer immediately knows how much he is losing in energy. The company is looking for new customers, as well as distributors and commercial representation mainly in Czechia, Poland, Austria, Hungary, in other EU countries and in USA and Canada. The detector is primarily intended for finding hidden leaks in compressed air systems. However, it is also suitable for checking tightness and finding micro-leaks from air conditioning units, as well as for checking insulation damage on high-voltage wires.
The technology brings substantial energy savings to their customers, amounting to thousands of euros. There is no special trainig required. The divice is in size with dimensions of only 117 x 79 x 33 mm. Possibility of ordering with accessories such as sound-proof headphones, protective case, 30 stickers to mark the places of leaks.
Compared to the competition, the detector is one of the smallest and most powerful devices on the market, it has functions that are available in devices 10 times more expensive. - Stage of Development
